ANC responds to DA’s court bid to halt mayor ousting

TSHWANE – The ANC and its alliance partners in Tshwane have agreed to temporarily withdraw the no-confidence motion against Mayor Cilliers Brink.
During an impromptu briefing on Thursday afternoon, the ANC , ACDP, EFF and ActionSA said they are waiting for lawyers to give them the green light on the motion.
The DA went to court to stop them from bringing the motion at the current council meeting.
